The electric vehicle battery system (Battery Pack) is an electrochemical and electronic complex, determining driving range, efficiency, dynamics, and safety. This paper analyses the two key parameters — energy capacity (kWh) and nominal voltage (V) — their interdependence, influence on power delivery, and charging characteristics. Contemporary lithium-ion battery chemistries, modular architectures, and design solutions for high-voltage (400–800 V) platforms are discussed.
