Study of Export Opportunities of Services to Scandinavia by Lithuanian Transport Companies

This article focuses on the evaluation of possibilities of Lithuanian transport companies in Scandinavian market. The object is to identify the major barriers and opportunities for integration into a potentially valuable market that needs to be analyzed not only in economic terms but also in terms of competitiveness and socio-political characteristics. Scandinavia is presented to Lithuanian transport companies as a market with appropriate conditions for business development. The article presents and evaluates the object of the research, analyzes the scientific sources, which seek to identify the opportunities of Scandinavian market for Lithuanian transport companies. Summarizing the results of the research it became clear that special attention should be paid to the creation of the image of Lithuania and making contacts by prioritizing these areas. In the mean time, little consideration is given to practical, cultural, business environment and communication differences, but great emphasis is placed on ecology.
