The article provides data on the effect of herbaceous phytocenoses on the content of accessible forms of nitrogen in edaphotopes of disturbed lands. For the forms of soil nitrogen, a different pace of the concentration change was noted: from the absence of seasonal fluctuations for ammonium, a decrease - in nitrite with an increase in the duration of studies to a parabolic change with a minimum in summer for nitrate nitrogen.
