The article presents and analyses the application of interactive tools for children with special educational needs from an educational and health promotion perspective. Inclusive education, which is increasingly becoming more and more popular, requires the preparation of environments for children with special educational needs: the creation of educational sensory spaces, equipped with interactive tools. The writing approach is that the sensory space can be a key factor or tool for correcting children's developmental disabilities and for creating conditions for a better, more engaging education. Preschool and pre-primary teachers and educational pedagogic aid specialists consider that a well-equipped sensory space with interactive tools stimulates positive attitudes and emotions, also promotes the cognitive abilities of the children. There are also negative aspects of the use of interactive tools, as reported by the pre-school teachers and pedagogic aid specialists working with children with developmental disorders who participated in the study.
