State Park Landscape Architecture Development Analysis

We understand the landscape as a result of nature and human activity. This result is not exhaustive. It depends on the prevalence of the natural or urban environment in the landscape, the influence of each landscape component on the purpose of the study. The outcome of this interaction results in justification of the principles of landscape architecture using scientific research methods. Solutions for the development of landscape architecture in Lithuanian state parks force us to look for measures to plan the valuable attributes of Lithuanian landscape as protected, how to improve the visiting of these territories, and the knowledge of the quality of the environment living in these territories.
The article presents landscape analysis of Samogitian national park, Curonian Spit national park, Seaside regional park and Nemunas Delta regional park, in the context of valuable properties, analysis of factors and influences on the landscape, the impact of cultural heritage, architecture, natural, environmental ecology and other factors and criteria on the landscape of state parks.
The paper examines the possibilities to consistently shape the development of landscape architecture, taking into account landscape policies - to ensure the protection, use, management, planning and features of the country's self-expression.
