Research on the Transport of Dangerous Goods in the European Union Countries

Abstract

The safe transportation of dangerous goods is an important task in cargo transportation on international routes. The article presents the results of the questionnaire analysis, which shows how respondents in European Union countries evaluate the transport of dangerous goods, what dangerous goods are usually transported, what means they try to ensure for safe transportation. Guidance measures are provided by Lithuanian carrier on how to transport dangerous goods more safely.
