Nutritional Knowledge Among General Practitioners
Keywords:
Nutrition, knowledge, general practitionersAbstract
We aimed to assess nutrition knowledge of general practitioners, estimate the possible issues and ways to solve them. It has been found that most general practitioners obtain information about healthy nutrition from various popular media sources. Most of general practitioners assessed their knowledge as basic and said that the responsibility of implementing a healthy diet falls on the patients. To improve the current situation general practitioners agreed that nutrition conferences, or other systematic information would assist both physicians in conveying the information and patients understanding it.
