Arcadia Park in Poland – the Art History Impression, a Case Study

The article explores the ideological program and history, and artistic expression of the Park Arcadia, the famous Polish and European park near Nieborow (Nieborów). This park created in the manor of the Duchess Elena (Helena) Radziwiłłowa (1753–1821) represents the romantic sentimental park style of the end of 18th century – beginning of 19th century. The preservation of the park is significant for the cultural history of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, and knowledge is important for the continuity of landscape architecture experience and tradition, for academic and vocational education and training, for study program enrichment.
