Sketch of the Project on Tree Expertise Methodology – a Coverage, Contradictions, Solutions

Abstract

The article presents a brief overview of arborist and dendrological research in Lithuania and foreign countries and provides methodological insights. When tested in practice, they could provide a solid basis for the development and validation by law of a structured methodology for assessing the condition of trees and greenery on non-forest land in Lithuania. The proposed procedure and principles of the examination, methodological provisions would form a unified system of tree condition assessment.
