The article analyses the work of French architect and urbanist Tony Garnier, one of the pioneers of modern architecture and urbanism. Implemented projects based on the vision of an industrial and functional modern city are analysed. The aim is to connect Tony Garnier's creative ideas with current trends and theoretical models in urban science and practice.
